1. Material And Difference : 304  316  316L  201
1) 304 : Containing 18% chromium and 8% nickel. It has good corrosion resistance and excellent forming and welding characteristics. It is widely used in kitchen equipment, food industry, medical equipment, and architectural.


2) 316 : Compared to 304, 316 includes an additional element of molybdenum (about 2%~3%), which provides it with superior corrosion resistance, especially against chloride environments. 316 is typically used in chemical processing,  marine equipment.


3) 316L : Essentially a low-carbon version of 316, with a carbon content below 0.03%, enhancing corrosion resistance during welding. 316L is suitable for projects requiring a lot of welding, such as pharmaceutical industry and surgical instruments.


4) 201:It has lower nickel and higher manganese content than 304 stainless steel, 201 not suitable for use in environments with corrosive substances. It is better suited for uses such as decorative materials or kitchenware, or in dry indoor environments or outdoor areas with mild pollution. Budget-friendly market products.

3. Weave Type

1)  Plain Weave :

Plain weave wire mesh is a widely used type of weave that is created by interlacing an equal number of warp and weft wires in a simple alternating over and under pattern.

This technique results in a strong and rigid structure with a consistent and uniform grid of square openings that maintain their shape under tension.

2)  Twill weave :

Twill weave allows for a tighter and heavier fabric with a more textured and robust structure, providing higher strength and better filtration capabilities.

Twill weave wire mesh is typically used when stronger material handling or finer filtration capabilities are needed.

3)  Plain Dutch Weave (PDW):

Plain Dutch Weave wire mesh features a dense weaving pattern with closely spaced warp wires and a larger weft wire diameter.

This structure achieves fine filtration while maintaining strength and durability. PDW excels in chemical processing, food, and pharmaceutical applications due to its precision.
 

4)  Twill Dutch Weave:

Twill Dutch Weave combines the Twill and Dutch weaving methods, creating a tightly structured mesh for ultra-fine filtration.

Its design allows for higher strength and finer openings than plain weaves, making it ideal for demanding filtration applications where strength and precision are critical.

5)  Reverse Dutch Weave:

It's reversed compared to Dutch Weave, enhancing particle retention and strength, making it suitable for high-pressure and precision filtration tasks.
